About the Role

Buildonix® is seeking a Factory Production Technician (Fitter/Turner & Fabrication) to support the production of high-quality building components for the Buildonix® Building System. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role that involves working across all areas of the production process, both independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for an individual with experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry who thrives in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication and assembly of steel and aluminium building components.
Operation of CNC routing machines to streamline production.
Manufacturing and assembling building components using the Buildonix® methodology (on-site training provided).
Occasional on-site construction work for Buildonix® projects (training and certification provided).
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised factory environment.
Delivering projects on time and to a high standard of precision.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in metal fabrication, fitting & turning, or related trades.
Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and metal fabrication.
Strong time management and scheduling abilities.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
Systematic approach to tasks and problem-solving.
Comfortable working around machinery and meeting production timelines.

Desirable (but not essential) Skills

Trade qualifications.
Experience in estimation and costings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
Understanding of R&D documentation processes.
Team or project management experience.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
