For traditional buildings, it is essential that a builder can access the necessary skilled tradesman to complete their work. This is often a problem though, with many builders having difficulty securing the necessary tradespeople and contractors to finish works within schedule.

How are we different? Our difference lies in the components, or material, that we use to build. Like traditional construction processes, we assemble our buildings at your property. However, our components are unique. All Buildonix building components are pre-manufactured and completed units. This means that structures are simply assembled on-site quickly and easily, without mess or noise issues. The best part is that we can assemble your project twice as fast if not faster than traditional buildings.

1. Speed, Speed, Speed!

Assembling your project is fast. The assembly process of our buildings is simple, streamlined, and fun. Components are designed to simply lock together, from start through to handover. Project times when compared against traditional projects are half, often a quarter of the time taken. Once the necessary plans and approvals have been met (don’t worry, we have gone into that below for you), your building could be done in a matter of days.

2. Environmental Sustainability

Our environmental sustainability is a point of pride for us. The Buildonix® technology has been under development for over 10 years, and an overriding priority of it’s development has always been the ingrained and inherent environmental sustainability offered by the technology.

The Buildonix® system recently received an Environmental Product Declaration based on a life cycle analysis of our structural system. This was a certification process which took almost 2 years to achieve and represents our efforts to substantially reduce the landfill waste crisis that is generated by traditional waste to landfill construction methods.

3. Complete Building Adaptability

This is a big one for us. The Buildonix® system is adaptable. What does this mean? It’s very common for a client to have design freedom in the pre-construction process. However, we take it one step further. A Buildonix® building design is flexible both before and after an assembly is finished!

This means that any Buildonix® building can be completely re-designed and assembled in any new design layout you might need or want at the time. This capability offers unique approaches to cost-effective developments.

4. Cost-Effective

One of the biggest costs involved in building is design inflexibility. Essentially, many people are forced to design, pay for, and build a project based on anticipated needs into the future rather than building a structure that they need now. 5. Efficiency and Energy Saving

A fundamental principle of our design has always been the energy efficiency and performance comfort of our buildings. All Buildonix® buildings, whether bathrooms, offices or our residential range, have the same energy performance and comfort qualities. Utilising passive house design principles, we have created an efficient and insulated envelope that is thermally efficient and comfortable. The result of our efficient designs is that with an energy-efficient heating and cooling system, our structures are able to retain their peak functional temperate for longer in all seasons.

While striving to deliver a product that is comfortable for its users year-round, we have also developed a structure that operates with peak efficiency and is fully capable of adopting energy generation technologies like solar – ensuring that your structure doesn’t keep costing you money as a result of poor design.

Absolutely! The Buildonix® system allows you to put any material, colour, or aesthetic finish you want on the structure! It’s one of the points we are most proud of. The internal and external walls can be whatever you want them to be. And if you are having trouble picking, we can help you there as well. Our buildings have completed design and finish flexibility, so we can help you to design and assemble exactly what you want – and you never know, you may want to change it up in the future. As the Buildonix system utilises pre-constructed components and a unique inter-locking system, we can build a residential solution on site in less than 4 weeks if no council approval is required.  In most cases, we might only take a few days to actually erect the building on site. Plus, there is a also little waste and mess from a Buildonix project, saving you time and money in the clean up.
