Title: Solidworks Technician

Renumeration: $100,000

Start Date: April 2024

Roles and responsibilities:

In the role of Solidworks Design Technician, you will be involved in the testing and Commercialisation of a new construction technology.  You will undertake the preparation and documentation of technical drawings and designs and will assist in preparing project documentation during research and development activities, and manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of Solidworks with excellent general CAD skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated sound understanding of materials.
• Excellent general computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.

• Demonstrate reliability, be enthusiastic and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated advanced modelling, surface and rendering skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously whilst following instructions.
• Maintain confidentially in a sensitive environment.

• Ability to understand and work within a broader business objective, supporting relevant Senior Management Team where necessary.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in Solidworks must be demonstrated by the successful candidate, including general CAD skills.
• Experience in the building and construction, industrial, or manufacturing industries would be highly regarded.
• Experience in designing for injection, molding, extrusion, or sheet metal would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing industry or related industries would be highly regarded.
